Casey Lavin

Casey Lavin joined Montage Palmetto Bluff as Managing Director in June 2018, where he oversees all operations at the resort. Casey plays an integral role in driving the growth of company revenues and profits, assembling a dynamic leadership team and energizing the mission and values of Montage Hotels & Resorts.

Under his leadership, Montage Palmetto Bluff has earned the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide’s Five-Star award, is ranked among Conde Nast’s top ten properties worldwide and the property has increased revenue by 42%.

Casey earned an economics and hospitality degree from Cesar Ritz University in Switzerland while interning at several luxury hotel properties. Upon graduating, he quickly rose through the ranks at The Ritz Carlton organization before joining the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, where he assisted in opening The Sanctuary Hotel, the first five-star resort in South Carolina of its size. Casey later accepted various leadership positions with esteemed luxury hotels, increasing each property’s growth margins and luxury standing.

Outside of work, Casey is heavily involved in the community, volunteering with his local church and serving as Missioner for the Community of St. Josephs, a homeless shelter in Savannah, Georgia. His hobbies include piano, water sports and travelling with his wife Monica and their daughter, Julia, who they welcomed in May of 2020.
